Dragons and Castles

Yo, guys; after my sudden death, I'm finally back with a vengeance.
I'm not using that expression lightly, it fits perfectly what happened during all the time Rengyou was as good as dead...but let me tell you everything with more details.

First thing first, Rengyou is on its version 4.0, courtesy of my sister Aihara-chan, a goodess who kindly bestowed this gift upon me; I'll never find enough words and/or means to thank her the way she deserves. ♥♥♥♥♥
Anyway: the layout is pure monochrome awesomeness, coded in tables with an amazing header featuring the Okumura brothers from my latest shonen-manga obsession Ao no Exorcist I love the design even more for that...Ai-chan even thought to match my Twitter colors with the premade's! This layout will never, ever be changed. ^___^

Aside from the new site design, some things happened on the site.
First, I removed a lot of exchangers, namely those who never replied to my comments on their sites, those who never visited and those who hadn't been updating since last year; thank God, I managed to gain 1 new exchanger. Please, welcome cute Mintomami from super-kawaii Aitsu-Sweetheart; as usual, plugging time.

     
The site is currently on revamp till May 4, but do visit once she's back, for the site is too cute to resist. n.n
Also, my first exchanger and my designing goddess Koa-chan from Frail-Frivolity.net seems to be down due to her host's issues; I truly hope she'll be back soon. I lost her current mail address, so I can't even send her a mail, so I'm announcing it here: if your host has issues and cannot come back, contact me, for I will more than gladly host FFD on one of my two accounts at SurpassHosting or WebHostingHub; the only glitch is I'm not sure I'll be able to give you cPanel, you'll probably have to stick with FTP. Contact me anyway, Koa-chan (even to let me know if the site is down for me only, or for others, too).

Now, onto the main, graphics-related part: I had a general site clean-up so, along with link exchangers, I removed a lot of graphics and resources; let's list all the removed items properly, in any case, just to have a little order.

• 8 div-layers removed, due to uglyness;
• 8 tables removed, same as above;
• 10 premade headers removed, same reason as the designs;
• 3 textures removed, for they were cloning my other textures.

My removed textures are still available on my deviant-ART account luciensabre @ DA so, if you think they weren't that ugly, go over there to download them...or stick with new things I brought along.
Yep, I added new things - as I usually do when I have a clean-up - but this time I feel the amount is a not as big as on previous breaks; anyway, here we go again with my obsession with listed items.

• 4 new div designs, featuring from Ouran High HostClub to yaoi series Brother X Brother by Hirataka Kisaragi;
• 7 premade headers, five featuring Ao no Exorcist, again, and two featuring Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle;
• 2 wallpapers, that's right! I unbelievably managed to make 2 cool desktop walls, both featuring Ao no Exorcist;
• 18 transparent PNGs, featuring from Ao no Exorcist (I see a returning pattern, don't you?) to Katekyo Hitman Reborn;
• 1 large texture, it's been forever since I made one, but eventually I got inspired.

I also added one quote...but overall, it's a bit less than previous clean-ups's entries...oh well, I'll add more next time.

I'm almost done...and you're probably wondering about the weird title; it's about two things.
First, an italian movie production house/distributor finally released Hayao Miyazaki's first animated masterpiece Laputa - The castle in the sky - originally created 26 years ago - for cinemas circuit; this means a DVD will be released in the future...it's about time! I've been waiting half my life for that movie. As soon as I get my hands on it, I'll be watching it non-stop. n.n
That was for the castles part; now about the dragons; it's simply that during this holiday break, I got hooked on How to Train Your Dragon slash fan fictions, mostly on those with Toothless/Hiccup pairing - which is a tiny bit sick, if you think of it, as Toothless is a dragon...but he's so cool you gotta love him in any form. xD

I've gotta go, now, for N.C.I.S. season 8 is up tonight; no way in he** I'm missing it - plus, I've still got a few Snarry fics to finish reading, so see you next time, guys, and take care. <3
